​Ube Astronomical Club

Activities started in 1967.

Working base is　Ube-shi kinrō seishōnen kaikan.

We want children to know the pleasure of the universe.

So planetarium projection once a week and　We are conducting astronomical observation using astronomical telescope.

​In 2017, we celebrated the 50th anniversary of the activity and held the 50th anniversary event of Ube city astronomy education.

1The planetarium we are using is "VENUS S - 3" manufactured by Goto Fujikura in 1967.The dome diameter is 8 meters and the audience is 70 seats.

It is the oldest thing in the planetarium currently in operation in Japan. We have provided many people with dreams, impression, and comfortable sleepiness :)
